First off My Name is Mark and I have been Role Playing for over 27 years and Efedding off and on since 1997. SO From a pure gaming and RPing in character I would like to believe I have credibility in this arena. I know others may have more experience and that is great my goal in this area is to help everyone improve in what ever way my experience can.
I also want to let you all know I come from a world of Publishing. I own my own Publishing company "Heroic Journey Publishing" it is small but has been around since 2008. We primarily publish RPGs and have 2 titles with several books under each game. This I feel give me credibility in running a fair and balanced game. Why? I have experience in critiquing and editing other peoples writing, while my own writing and grammar can be decent to good, I know I am not an award winning writer but I have experience reading many different styles and can judge them on their own merit rather then my own prejudices.
Thirdly my base degree was in English Literature, so yes it was a bunch of reading old stuffy white guys, but I believe from a story and structure stand point this gives me credibility as being able to understand and defend why something is good and why. I have some history of training in literary critique.
Lastly I am a published author, Most isn't available but I did play a big part in one of the books we published. My role was mostly in taking 4 different authors and combining 4 different styles into one coherent Game book with my own writing.
I'm not saying all this to say.. Oh Look at me I'm awesome. I am presenting this so you all know where I come from and an open offer that if I can help anyone don't hesitate to ask.
